Silent Reading
Silent Reading
Today, the book I have been reading is: Emil's Clever Pig by Astrid Lindgren
From what I have read, I have come to an understanding that Emil is famous in his little town, Lonneburga for being the most naughtiest boy.
In this book, the author talks about all the mischief he gets in and some of the good deeds he has done.
Overall, I think this book is very interesting and hilarious to read. I recommend this book to anyone who can get their hands on it.

Story Map
Creating a story map is a way to help you understand and summarize the stories you read. When you make a story map, you identify the basic story elements, such as the characters, setting, conflict, and important plot events.
Title:Stage Fright

Min,Vanessa,Ms Anderson, Lisa

Conflict or Problems faced between characters:
Vanessa reads the same poem as Min and makes no mistakes and try to intimidate Min
|
Setting:
Classroom

The Plot - (Events 1-4) You can add more events if you need to
Event 1:
Min is chosen to read a poem in front of the classroom but makes mistakes and gets laughed at.

Event 2:
Ms Anderson gives Min advice about how to feel confident while reading.

Event 3:
The next day Min brings a coin that her grandpa gave her that helps her with her fear.

Event 4:
As she reads her poem she feels as if she could read in front of a stadium.

Climax:
(The exciting part of the story when everything comes together)
When Min reads her poem and everyone is so interested and hooked into it.

(What happens after the conflict is resolved)
When Ms Anderson gives Min advice and Min suddenly feels confident.
